Barbara Schmeckpeper has a PhD in Molecular Biology and had a career in human genetics. Now that she is retired she is a Master Watershed Steward, AA County and on Howard County WSA Advisory Committee. She is also a Master Gardener, Environmental educator, and coordinator for the Howard Legacy Leadership Institute for the Environment (HoLLIE). Plus she does Maryland Biological Stream Surveys (MBSS).
