Last Day to Register for “Advanced Stream Repair Series”

Gain a practical, start-to-finish understanding of modern stream restoration in this comprehensive webinar series. Participants will explore the causes of stream degradation, learn how to assess whether a stream is a good candidate for restoration, and examine common challenges and proven solutions. Topics include legacy sediment, dam removal, floodplain reconnection to improve water quality and aquatic habitat, and the role of large woody materials in stream valley ecosystems. The series also addresses planning, permitting, maintenance, and effective streambank stabilization in challenging locations such as road crossings, farm lanes, and pastures. The program concludes with a live panel of restoration professionals from state agencies and conservation organizations who will share field-based insights and answer audience questions.
